P.X.A où la rencontre impossible des tastemakers européens, un mélange fou et joyeusement bon enfant. L’étincelle qui a jaillit à Paris il y a maintenant deux ans sous l’impulsion du programme NIKE IAM1 et la rencontre BKRW x POK/PIGALLE se transforme en feu de joie. Une vingtaine de mois plus tard, Berlin a rejoint les rangs, accompagné d’Amsterdam. Chaque ville développe son style et son caractère. Toujours sur le même format : un long week-end mélangeant : retrouvailles, dîner, tournoi, soirée et brunch.

NIKE STADIUM Milan et SlamJam ont donc accueilli le premier stop de 2011. Un week-end mélangeant pluie et soleil. Sueur et rires. Un tournoi qui chaque année voit des nouvelles têtes mais toujours le même état d’esprit : partager et s’amuser (amuser verbe 1 distraire, divertir 2 plaire). Chaque tournoi apporte une façon de faire particulière. Tout est bien organisé mais tout peut arriver. Une envie de laisser aller les choses pour plus de plaisir.

Le soleil brillait fort et haut le jour du tournoi. 14 équipes hommes (PIGALLE, BKRW, SOTO, K1X, OFIVE TV...) et 8 équipes mixtes (colette, CANDY, PIGALLE...) dans une ambiance survoltées. Le niveau fût très vite fixé. La barre fut haute et les demi-finaliste rapidement connus : PIGALLE, K1X, OFIVE et SOTO. Que du classique et des habitués des phases finales. OFIVE TV faisant office de rookie de service. La finale allait révéler ses réponses dans une soirée qui commençait à tomber. Un match exigeant et éprouvant pour le public comme pour les arbitres. SOTO x PIGALLE c’est le CLASSICO de PXA. Tensions et émotions. Comme pour mieux répondre à la fatigue. Il aura fallu l’intervention d’une défense de fer de NORDINE, d’un shoot à trois point et d’un double pas venant d’ailleurs de PAUL pour décanter une finale qui s’annonçait explosive. Le courageux capitaine NICO x SOTO aura d’ailleurs dû plusieurs fois interrompre sa participation sur crampes. PIGALLE arrache une nouvelle fois la coupe. Chez les équipes mixtes, la finale fût comme d’habitude énorme et détendue. La team CANDY emmenée par sa courageuse capitaine EMILY et son adjoint HADNET est finalement venu à bout d’une équipe de Milan redoutable sur son propre terrain.

Le tournoi s’est fini pour laisser place à la finale de la Ligue des Champions et à continuer aux confins de la nuit sur un dancefloor d’un atelier d’artiste détourné. Les corps éprouvés mais haut les coeurs. Pour un week-end haut en couleurs.

Prochaine destination PARIS. Un deuxième anniversaire à fêter. Toujours la même énergie. Et la même baseline, trop souvent utiliser à tort et à travers, mais pourtant tellement juste au sein du PXA : PEACE, UNITY, LOVE and HAVING FUN.

PXA (Pigalle - xberg - Amsterdam) 3 Cities. 3 Countries. 40 friendships. 2 loves. Basketball and partying.

PXA is the most freestyle trendy youngbloods kids and European tastemakers basketball event. A crazy energetic chop-suey. The spark starts in Paris two years ago under of the program of NIKE IAM1 and collaboration between BKRW x POK / PIGALLE and quickly becomes a bonfire. Some twenty months later, Berlin has joined the ranks, along with Amsterdam. Each town develops its style and character. Still on the same format, a long weekend mixing: reunion, dinner, tournament, party and brunch.

NIKE STADIUM and SlamJam Milan have host the first stop of 2011. A weekend mixing violent rain and powerfull sun. Sweats and laughts. A tournament every year sees new faces but keep still the same spirit: to share and have fun (have fun, amuse, entertain, please). Every tournament brings a particular vibe. Everything is organized, but anything can happen. A desire to let things go for more fun.

The sun shone strong and high the saturday of the tournament. 14 Men teams (PIGALLE, BKRW, SOTO, K1X, OFIVE TV ...) and 8 mixed teams (colette, CANDY, PIGALLE ...) in a very good atmosphere. The level was quickly fixed. And it was high and the semi-finalist was : PIGALLE, K1X, OFIVE and SOTO. That's kinda classic at this stage of the competition. OFIVE TV acting as the rookie of this well-known crew. The final answer was about to be given in a night that began to fall. A demanding and challenging game for the public as to the referees. SOTO x PIGALLE : THE CLASSICO of PXA. Tensions and emotions. As to better respond to body pains. It took the intervention of an iron and heroic defense of NORDINE, a crazy PAUL three-point shoot and a double step coming from nowhere to finish a game that promised to be explosive. The brave captain NICO from SOTO has also been repeatedly interrupted his participation on cramps. PIGALLE win PXA again.

In mixed teams, the final was as usual great and more relaxed. CANDY the team led by his courageous captain EMILY and his deputy HADNET finally came to the end of a formidable milanese team on his own ground.

The tournament was done, giving way to the final of the Champions League and to continue in the late night on a dancefloor of an artist's studio twisted. Everybody gave the last drop of energy to burn the party up and blocking MILANO to sleep.

PARIS will be the next destination to celebrate the second PXA anniversary. Always the same energy. And the same baseline, overused, but fitting perfectly to this basket-ball party tournament: PEACE, UNITY, LOVE and Having Fun.
