Last Monday, BKRW.COM Digital Magazine had the exclusive chance to sit down with American artist and designer PHARRELL WILLIAMS in PARIS, for an interesting chat at the presentation of his new design project: “The TANK CHAIR” with EMMANUEL PERROTIN.


This is the second time we see Williams get into furniture design, twisting the iconic silhouette of EAMES chairs – this time presenting the Tank Chair.
Made of plexiglas and full grain colt leather, the chair comes in 4 colorways; baby blue, baby pink, black and white overall. These new designs initially debuted at GALERIE EMMANUEL PERROTIN MIAMI during the city’s most recent ART BASEL show and are now being presented - during the fashion week - at the gallerists’ flagship Parisian space. Those TANK CHAIRS will be sell in AVANT-PREMIERE at colette between the 22d and the 28th of MARCH.

The famous producer explained that these chairs are not only a hobby but that he has really immersed himself in this ongoing collaboration. In fact, he is so dedicated to this project that we may be seeing a third edition very soon.
